“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” Hebrews 13.8. The same God who raised Jesus will raise us; the same God who tore down walls will tear them down again; the same God who stops to hear the cry of the broken and discarded will take time to hear our cry; the same God who calls us to rise up and meet Him will call us up to meet Him again some day; the same God who calmed the storm will calm our storms; the same God who brought His people out of slavery so they could rest will once again bring us out of slavery and lead us into His perfect and forever rest. He loves to exhibit His character.
